Why we love Lucha…
Whenever we do interviews about ¡Mucha Lucha!, we’re always asked the same question: “How is Lucha Libre different from American Pro-Wrestling?”
Well from now on, we’re just gonna shut up and show this picture, which really says it all…

Oh…many laughs…thanks.
ahahaa!
Nothing beats the color and excitement of Lucha Libre…nothing!
Did some one say ALUSHE?!!?!
No, someone said QUE MONITO!!!!!
Very colorful.
When I was little, I remember seeing Mr. #1 and #2. These were American wrestlers from years ago.
Do you mean Mr Wrestling #1 & #2? Awesome!
“Mr. #1″ and “Mr. #2″ could be brilliant gimmicks – two huge guys in hoods are aren’t entirely potty trained!
And was “Godzilla vs. Megalon” not the best wrestling movie ever shot outside of Mexico or what?
!!Viva Lucha Libre!! !!Viva Dolores De Muela!!!

We should have a contest to find Mr. #1 and Mr #2′s finishing moves. Then again, maybe we shouldn’t…
Yeah ‘Godzilla vs Megalon’ was a better worked match than most WWE bouts. I still can’t believe that almost a third of that movie was the fight!
Yes, I meant Mr. Wrestling #1 and #2. These guys wore masks but it’s different from Lucha masks from what I can see. Maybe I’ll try to track down some pictures. I used to watch wrestling when I was younger and always wanted to go see it in person. Come to think of it, I remember Abdula the butcher and some other guys with masks.
Mr. Wrestling #2.

I also remember seeing these guys on TBS years ago (Turner Broadcasting) when I was a little girl. I think these are the first guys I remember wearing masks.
