Illustrations!
Lili and I were asked to contribute illustrations to an exhibition at the ‘Futurama’ furniture store on Hollywood Blvd. The exhibition didn’t take place, so we present our illustrations (THEME: retro/space age design) here…
Featuring the Atomium Centre in Brussels
The Mariscal-designed Lobster restaurant in Barcelona
The “BOOGIE ON” Series (not the complete set… still in progress) by Lili
Clockwise from top left: Boogie On Paulin; Boogie On Arnio; Boogie on Gehry; Boogie on Nelson.
P.s. Boogie is my boston terrier, obviously– Lili

ha! I love the Boston terrier that you used there
Very nice job! I hope the others appreciated your work!
@tumbling_dice - thanks! Actually this is the first time we have displayed these illustrations…the exhibition we were asked to contribute to never got off the ground
Actually, we could do an endless blog post on ‘Work that we were commissioned to do, but was never actually seen anywhere’

Eddie, I hope you and Lili got paid for your work even though it didn’t get used for it’s intended purpose. On another note, when and where can I find a copy of Los Campeones after it hits DVD? And, will the DVD have a lot of concept art, character designs, and interviews of you and Lili? I don’t speak Spanish fluently. So, will there be an alternate audio track in English on the Spanish language disk? And, will there be a two disk set?
@Gojira_X - thanks for the concern!
Los Campeones will be released on DVD sometime next year (we will have probable release dates next week…watch this space!)
There will be both an English language version (this is the version we produced) and a Spanish language version on the DVD. Extras are still being worked out
