Meeting KookieToday was the voice recording session for our “Here’s Jimmy” pilot cartoon, and we were graced with the presence of none other than Mr. Edd Kookie Byrnes (voicing himself) at North Hollywood Sound studio. Edd was so cool. It was a pleasure.

Might I add that this was also Fwak Animation‘s first ever voice recording session in L.A. (operating as Fwak! Animation Inc. USA) It was a blast, and many thanks to everyone who contributed their vocal talents!

*UPDATE* Edd mentioned that he has also appeared in “77 Sunset Strip” comic books. Here are some images found on the web, via this flickr set.
Los Campeones UpdateThis Thursday 17th., we will be holding the first round of voice actor auditions for Los Campeones. It will be an intense day as there are many parts in this show. Well, it’s our biggest production yet. Exciting and scary at the same time.Things have been progressing well, with the script completed, a big chunk of characters designed, background design progressing, and storyboards well underway. More soon…
Mucha Lucha especial! Thanks, Jesse Justice! This is awesome!
Jazzy dog
I always think it’s kinda corny when people blog about and share photos of their pets. So I’ll only do this once. Meet Jazzy, the 12 year old Boston terrier that I am fostering this week, on behalf of BostonBuddies.org (Boston terrier rescue group) She may be old and fat but she is really supersweet and I did the really corny thing of setting her up with a Myspace page. I hope I won’t get too attached and that she will be adopted into a nice new home. - Lili

The layouts look awesome. I’m psyched to see where it goes.Man Jazzy is cute. Yesterday I left my two golden retrievers at my parents house, and already I miss their slobber.
Edd has got to be the man that was in Grease. The one hosting the dance office when they were doing the hand jive.
Oops, I meant dance off. I was trying to find a picture of him from Grease but I cant locate one.
“Vince Fontaine”… that’s who he was in Grease.
Hi
When will the cartoon be released — waiting to see and hear it.

It will be a while — voice record is one of the first steps. Next it’s layout, then the actual animation can begin
