Houdini vs.The Nazis!
Abra Cadaver: The Afterlife Adventures of Harry Houdini is a new comic book title by Dwight MacPherson, whom Eddie met via myspace. When we were asked to contribute artwork for a “Houdini versus The Nazis” story, how could we refuse? We haven’t read the book (as it is not yet released) but the concept itself is intriguing enough!
(in progress)
I should add that we have been meeting some really nice and cool people on myspace and it is exciting that these connections have led onto creative collaborations. One of our myspace Friends is the uber-prolific Otis Fodder (of The Bran Flakes / Comfortstand / Luxuria Music fame). This year Fwak! will be collaborating with Otis and a team of talented individuals on a thrilling new project. Stay tuned for the Killer Watts! That is all I can say for now

MIZNA WADAI am in love with Mizna Wada‘s retro-gothic style illustrations. (via Punio) Especially the circus freakshow-themed ones. As it turns out, Mizna Wada is showing a collection of dolls in L.A. this month, at the Robocon Gallery, Chinatown. (website) More photos of her dolls –> HERE and HERE.

That abra-cadaver piece is ridiculous fun. I really like how you handled the simple color scheme, and those smoke trails rock!.-ClarkeMy Sketch-BlogMy Inspiration Blog
Thanks Clarke!
I can honestly say, I look forward to youse guys updates here more so than just about anything else on my ‘favorites’ list. Next to my myspace I pop by here the most. I never know what the two of you will be putting up on my electronic horizon. My little family will be down from Portland to San Fran to visit our family in the middle of Feb for a 4 day weekend. It has been so long since I’ve been there. I don’t know of anything cool to do there.
Well, cheers any way. Stay Black!
