  • ¡Mucha Lucha! news

This huge Flea walk-around character was last seen at the Six Flags WB Backlot event. Thanks to Michael and Anna for the groovy photo!

People keep asking us “Where do you buy the ML toys? We can’t find them in the stores”. If you are located in the US and Canada, you can order the toys online at Amazon.com or CartoonNetwork.com.  The best deal is at the Cartoon Network Shop where you can buy the entire MixAlot toy pack (6 figures) for $30. If you are outside the US…. so far there’s only eBay, sorry.

While you’re at CartoonNetwork.com, also check out the new Mucha Lucha online wrestling game!

Coming soon: Mucha Lucha at KTLA Kid’s Day Los Angeles! From the WBA Publicity Dept:

On Saturday, October 2, we’re featuring the series at this year’s KTLA Kids’ Day Los Angeles, a well-attended family festival dedicated to the children of Los Angeles.  The event, to be held at Exposition Park, will run from 10 am – 5 pm. More than 10,000 people each year attend KTLA Kids’ Day, which features live performances, educational booths and kid-friendly activities.

Recently, Dann Lennard of Betty Paginated Zine (Australia) interviewed Eddie about ML. You can read the interview HERE.

Last but not least, here we are with our new Rikochet piñata from TJ. We have many fun things planned for him…

Can anyone recommend good and inexpensive DVD-capture software (for Windows)? I want to extract clips from movies and save them as AVI/QT files.

  • Make the characters w/cooler moves man…not like roll up into a ball and bounce around….com’on…like “Dynomite Drop-kick” or “Omega Bomb”…lol.

  • Er…we didn’t actually make the game.  It may come as a shock, but we can’t physically ‘make’ all the products connected with Mucha Lucha! ourselves. Although I was asked to help sew the suit for the giant Flea walkaround character – ;) Eddie

  • have you googled ‘DVD to AVI?’  There is protection on store bought DVD’s of course, they’re encrypted and have macro-vision protection.
omg… your rikochet is HUGE!  He looks like he’s grown since the last photos!

  • Hi Stevie – yes I’ve been googling but was hoping for a personal recommendation from someone who’s used such software. So many programs to choose from… - Lili
