Masked-wrestler inspired figures are popping up everywhere! Last week, we blogged about the new El Dunny Loco figure by Kidrobot. While I’m not a huge fan of Toy2R‘s QEE figures, I have just noticed that they have some Japanese pro-wrestler Qees. Though a bit hard to tell that these are masked wrestlers if you weren’t already familiar with the wrestlers…
The above images are from myplasticheart.com. (We saw Ebessan wrestle in L.A. earlier this year!) I think I still prefer my Tiger Mask KUBRICK wrestler set.
Which reminds me - while we were in NYC, we also came across some New Japan Pro-Wrestling TINIBIZ figures - most of which are pretty boring visually. We just wanted the Jushin Thunder Lyger figure! Sometimes, ‘blind assortment’ really sucks!

September 8th: Kaiju Big Battel is coming to L.A. !
Unfortunately this event clashes with “John K. Presents Classic Cartoons” at the Egyptian Theater, which we were looking forward to. Guess we’ll have to miss out this time
