  • “The Nail In The Coffin”
…characters from Los Campeones’ nightclub sequence

These are some of the characters at the nightclub where DRAGON ROJO JR. and MR. PROFESIONAL meet up with RAYO X. (One of these days we will get a proper Los Campeones website together so you know who’s who and what’s what)

Meanwhile, things are moving ahead even though we have had several weeks tearing our hair out over the piles of Screen Actors Guild paperwork we were required to fill out. Something that we hadn’t anticipated: One has to pay S.A.G. ($$$) for using non-S.A.G. actors…

Yes, we have our Los Campeones cast! We feel very blessed to have the enthusiasm of some very cool (and famous) talent on our “low-budget-indie-feature”. Stay tuned… All will be revealed later…

    The “Puro Muerto” Exhibition

at the L. A. Central Library until March 2007 is worth checking out. A book has been published of these Day of the Dead artworks, but the gallery experience is much more impressive! Really cool woodcut prints, paintings and sculptures by Artemio Rodriguez, Robert Palacios and other La Mano Press artists.

  • Music From Mexi-Lucha Movies!

Finally! Eight months later, we are proud to present a new Fwak! Jukebox playlist: a muy especial compilation by our friend and collaborator,  Keith Rainville. Here is Playlist #9. Enjoy!

P.S. Visit the FPU website — click on the DVD Guide (top menu) for reviews of these movies. … And there is more Mexican Wrestling info on our updated Lucha Libre Links page...
