I know we don’t blog much these days and it’s due to this heavy Los Campeones workload, overseas travel and lack of time when you add domestic chores and personal lives to the mix. I rarely participate on the internet these days… well, aside from occasional Myspace and eBay visits. So these tidbitty updates may have to last for a while…
Los Campeones
Storyboards by Eddie, Jake Bauming and Rafael Navarro are in progress and looking awesome! We have also been in the process of auditioning voice actors and educating ourselves on SAG (Screen Actors Guild) requirements. This being our first US-based “independent movie” production as Fwak! Animation USA, LLC there is some learning to do and challenges to meet.
Overseas Travel
I was in Sydney and Malaysia a little while ago with alas, no fabulous photos and travel tips to share. It was wonderful catching up with old friends and family, eating great meals but and I didn’t really do anything super-bloggable otherwise. Stuff bought included some dried meat (an addictive Malaysian Chinese specialty), Tim Tams (Australian specialty) and this record I found at a flea market. The concept is so bad it’s good.
Was ‘suburban’ ever cool?
Tomorrow, Eddie leaves for Sydney. Jazzy, my foster dog, will miss him.
*UPDATE* Eddie is keeping a Sydney travel blog on Myspace HERE
And this is what a real cappuccino looks like…

Hope to see you there!
Halloween/Dia De Los Muertos
On Nov 28th. we will be heading over to Hollywood Forever Cemetary for the annual L.A. Day of the Dead celebrations. The more I hear about Keith Rainville‘s elaborate tribute altar to departed luchadores, the more I can’t wait to see it!! The Cramps & Groovie Ghoulies (both of whom we had the pleasure of meeting recently) will also be playing at the House of Blues on the same night and I think I have to get some of these Vosges exotic chocolate skulls even though they’re eight bucks(!) each.
