I have been informed that the Mucha Lucha toys are now available in Mexico. It appears that there is some extra cool stuff which is not available here in the U.S.! Thanks to Annette Huckell for sending this photo of a “Buena Bank” from TJ!
A cool photo exhibit of luchadores by Malcolm Venville.Update: Obviously, I have been way too slack with the surfing/blogging lately. Today I checked my bloglines and found this!!! Thank you Mr. Bali Hai

- Dschinghis Khan – Moskau! (the music video is unbelievable)

If you think that “Moskau” is unbelievable, then you haven’t seen Rockin’ Son of Dschinghis Khan!
But don’t you think that the dancing is MUCH better in Moskau?
They’re both fab, but Rockin’ Son has Dschinghis dancing around like an greased otter on a hot skillet, plus a shirtless Bavarian guy with chipmunk cheeks, a disco mullet, a gay-pr0n moustache, wearing gold lamé pants, who plays a drum solo!
Your point is well taken Mr.BH, but for me that moment in Moskau where the bald dude, the mullet dude and the er…other mullet dude, all link up for the baritone middle-eight section, is a moment of pure genre-crossing gold.
If only the 1980 Moscow Olympics had been that good…
Thank you Mr. Bali HaiNo worries, Lili. All us low-levels bloggers need a good bOINGbOINGing every now and then.…a moment of pure genre-crossing goldOr a shameful moment of atrociously bad lip-synching…
So… I know this isn’t QUITE the Mucha Lucha thing…but when I saw these at the store, the one bird on the left, out of the corner of my eye…looked like a Mucha Lucha character all on it’s own!Check out this link and enlarge the picture and you’ll see why it had me laughing!http://www.hasbro.com/default.cfm?page=browse&product_id=15445LITTLEST PET SHOP PURR-FECTION SALON Playset
