It was our first visit to the ASIFA headquarters in Burbank and we were both very honored to be invited by ASIFA’s Larry Loc (along with three other judges) to review over sixty animated submissions for the Annie Awards’ “Best Animated Television Production” category. The five nominees will be officially announced on Dec 5th. In the meantime, our lips are sealed…
Lili: I just got back from the Pasadena City College Art Gallery for the Love & Rockets: Comic Art of Gilbert and Jaime Hernandez opening. I have always been in love with the works of Los Bros Hernandez so it was a treat to have my photo taken with Jaime and a DVD/comic set signed by Gilbert. The show goes through to Dec 3rd.
