Tokyo Pig -by Eddie
I’d never heard of this until today when the DVD caught my eye. Typical zany anime, (so fast It felt like I’d watched the whole series, but it was just the first episode!) Tokyo Pig has apparently come and gone with nary a blip on the TV radar.
I was looking forward to One Piece after hearing good things, but was really disappointed with it – especially with the animation. Tokyo Pig makes up for it with some really inventive sequences scattered throughout

If you’re looking for anime with good artwork, try Bleach
The drawings of bleach are quite detailed and sharp. Plus the storyline is excellent if you’re into the typical boy-turn-hero manga style 
cept Bleach is a tad more advanced in story structure.
Thanks Johngoh. I’m not a huge anime fan, but I do appreciate the original, inventive stuff that leaps out and influences the animation world…FLCL is the obvious one that comes to mind.
