    By the time we got home to Darlinghurst last night, the Mardi Gras parade  was well and trully over. The streets were still barricaded but the crowds had petered out, presumably at the big party. We watched a really disappointing “Lenny Henry’s Big Amazon Adventure” which Eddie had videotaped. I was hoping to see interesting views of the Amazon jungle, instead we had to put up with Lenny’s face in the dark for most of the hour – and his struggles to make a cup of tea. Anyway, I STILL want to go to the Amazon jungle.

    This Sunday afternoon we went to Dr. What’s Video: Got out two Bob Fosse musicals – Damn Yankees and the Pyjama Game very light and schmultzy entertainment, and Atomic Cafe. Next stop: Kinokuniya books – searched for inspiring and entertaining travel/adventure books.

    Eddie is making a new CD mix for AOTM. Working title: “Songs in the key of Fwak!” Basically the stuff we listen to and/or steal samples from here at Fwak!
