    Moon Landing Conspiracy Theory

New York Times article  - “Lunar-tics”:
Why is there no crater beneath the lunar landing module, even through it could allegedly fire 10,000 pounds of thrust? Since the only light source on the moon was the sun, why do the astronauts’ shadows tilt in toward each other in some photographs, instead of running parallel? Why is the flag waving in the breeze on an airless moon, and why are there no stars in the dark space sky?
    Sibrel, the conspiracy-theorist questions:
‘Isn’t it curious that in the 30-plus years since Apollo 11, Neil Armstrong hasn’t given a single one-on-one on-camera interview? Not one. Not to Barbara Walters, Walter Cronkite. Not one interview.’
If the moon-landing was fake, you’d think that the Russians would’ve known. - Eddie

  • Illustrated History of Pro-Wrestling in Northern California

I’m rootin’ for the guy in the corner - Eddie.

  • Just watched a very SLOW Flash movie that explains Kubrick’s very slow 2001 Space Odyssey. OK, in a nutshell:

Man makes tools; man becomes master of Earth. In Space, master of Earth must become a child again – learn to walk etc. Computer becomes master. Man becomes dispensable. But computers make mistakes. Man turns computer off with tool (screwdriver). Computer dies – Man is alone and must confront death. Man must realize that he has relied too much on his tools. And so his body dies and his spirit lives on in space…

So the movie is just what I assumed it was about, considering I never got past the scene with the groovy spaceship interior design. (Eddie never got past the apes).

And while on the subject of aerospace travel, Andreas’ Personal Flying suit project looks really heavy….

    Weekend at the studio…

Misc. Links: Shaken and stirred - Australian Spy Story; George and Sadam in Rio; and we’ve decided to join the anti-war protest next week.

Currently singing: Davy Crockett , Sugar Sugar

Today we also performed our first vocal recording of the Cosmic Baby Theme song to send to Michael – who will rearrange with orchestration etc.

Eddie is planning a new CD mix of Outlaw songs. Working title: “West of Jamaica”

Oh and some good news from the xanga team. The email it feature (below each blog entry) has been fixed and is now working really well. (Previously you could only send the link to the entire site, not individual posts)

The crew has been hired – Most of the storyboard guys are the same artists from Season 1. Jorge Gutierrez is the new character designer; Ken Kessel (Rocko’s Modern Life) is the new Creative Director.

  • Jo Jo Yee, the voice of Cosmic Baby, will be performing this month at the Footbridge Theatre. She sent us this press release.

The days are getting busier…no time to post anything… Will be back soon.

  •

Fwak! was interviewed for The Sunday Telegraph last week. These are two of the many photographs that were taken of us for the article. Are these worth $220 each? (That’s the price if you purchase them from News Ltd!)

The full article can be read here.  (There is a misquote ~ Nick Australia did not ‘reject’ us. They were aware of the project but nothing eventuated. )

Just found another advertisement for the ¡Mucha Lucha! premiums on this page.

  • I found this Flash movie. Unfortunately the plot is a little obtuse as we can’t understand the Japanese text… A parody of “Sazae-San”? (Link: About Sazae San)
